Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many throughout her long life. Carolyn was very active serving her communities, volunteering at Monongalia and Martin Health Systems, Morgantown Hospice, Monongalia Arts Center, Red Cross, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and was a board member and officer of West Virginia Public Theater, Valley Hills Garden Club and Monongalia Hospital Auxiliary. Besides her volunteering, she had a special love for the beaches and making special gifts for her relatives and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Andrews Catholic Church, 2100 SE Cove Rd., Stuart, Fla., at 10 a.m., June 4. One of Carolyn’s favorite things to do was go to the park for a picnic.
