Edward Darrell Murray, 66, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Ed was born March 30, 1955, in Logan, a son of the late Bueal Murray and Arlene Smith Murray.
Ed had worked for Davis-Lynch Glass for over 39 years. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing pool, was known as “The Captain” and loved spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his longtime companion and caregiver Carol McCormick; one daughter Heather; one son, Jamie; three grandsons, Jay, Michael and Douglas; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma, and three brothers, Randall, Danny and Mike.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 10 a.m., Friday, May 28, until the noon funeral service with Pastor Raymond Morris officiating. Cremation services will be provided following the services.
