Mary Louise Rose, 27, passed away at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Mary was born on March 5, 1994, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, to parents Tracy Rose and Matthew Neer.
Growing up, Mary enjoyed being on the school cheerleading squad, going to mud races and being outside. She also liked to go on walks. When Mary loved, she loved with her entire heart.
Mary was a loving daughter, mother, sister, cousin, niece and friend.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Lyndsey Shepard and Abbie Shepard; her son, Matthew Neer; mother, Tracy Rose Smith, and stepfather Jason Smith; father, Matthew Neer, and stepmother, Penny Neer; her sisters, Nicole McClurg and Izabella Rose; brother, Thomas Rice; maternal aunt and uncles, Marcia Morton, Carl Morton and Willie Morton; paternal aunt and uncle, Sandra Neer and Ben Neer; great-aunt and -uncle, Debbie and Jim Springer; as well as cousins, Amber Holder, Jeremy Rose, Caden Rose, Aurora Rose, Tiffany Springer Batton, J.R. Springer, L.B. Neer, Seth Neer, of South Carolina, and Megan Neer, of Morgantown.
Mary is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Louise Rose and Frank Rose; paternal grandparents, Betty Neer and Tom Neer; maternal great-grandparents, Constance Springer and Pete Springer; and her maternal aunt, Tammy Rose Morton.
McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to McCulla Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
