FAIRVIEW — Bailey Barns Venue is equipped with everything a bride and groom could need to make their special day one to remember.
“We treat every girl like they’re our daughter,” said Tabby Triplett, a business partner of the venue’s owners, Darrin and Tracey Neely. “What our daughters would want and what we would want as a family — we’ve kind of just tried to build off of that.”
Located on a picturesque farm in the rural West Virginia town of Fairview, the venue is situated on more than 190 acres of rolling hills. Marble floors and exposed beam ceilings fill the interior. The reception area, which features a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace and glass chandeliers, overlooks the farm.
The scenery and facilities are only a portion of what the venue has to offer.
Triplett said the venue prides itself in offering a variety of amenities needed for the perfect wedding. The venue seats up to 200 people and offers a full caterers’ kitchen, a full bar and a cocktail hour area. The event can be hosted indoors or outdoors.
In-house photographers are available for hire as well, along with hair and makeup specialists.
“They can bring people in, but we kind of are that one-stop shop for brides,” Triplett said.
In the brightest suite, in the century-old farmhouse, the bride has plenty of space to prepare for the special occasion. Inside, there is a hair and makeup room with lighted mirrors, as well as a bridal suite where the bride can hang her dress and the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms for the bridal party, which can accommodate up to 12 guests. The most recent addition to the venue is a honeymoon suite, where the newlyweds are welcome to stay.
A gentleman’s suite is also available for the groom and groomsmen to prepare.
If there is something Bailey Barns Venue cannot offer directly, they have several vendors lined up to ensure all amenities needed are available to the bride and groom.
Marlee Cantrell, a resident of Morgantown, had her wedding at the venue in September of 2020.
“It was a beautiful day; they did everything to make my wedding absolutely gorgeous,” she said. “I didn’t have to worry about anything, and they honestly played a very big role in making my day so special.”
Cantrell said she originally planned to hold her wedding at another venue, but due to COVID-19 her original venue plans fell through. When she toured Bailey Barns as an alternative, she said she quickly realized it was an even better option than her original choice.
“It had everything that I was wanting, everything that the other venue was missing,” she said. “It was honestly perfect.”
Triplett said every wedding is unique, as each one is customizable. The venue offers package options with dozens of add-ons available to fit couples’ budgets and needs.
Along with weddings, the venue also accommodates a variety of events. More information about the venue can be found at https://baileybarnsvenue.com/.
