William L. “Bill” Tennant, departed from this earth to a better place on May 5, 2021. He was born on April 1, 1962, son of the late Lloyd and Helena (Brewer) Tennant, of Fairview, Route 2. He is survived by his beloved wife, Naoka, and his two fur babies.
He was a Christian by faith and retired from the construction trade. He was an avid Harley-Davidson fan and traveled many back roads across the U.S. He was a great believer in God and family and had a wish to visit the Tennant’s ancestral home in Scotland.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Louise Harris (Frank), of Williamstown; brother, Edgar A. “Punch” Tennant (Annette), of Union Mills Md.; and an adopted brother, Lloyd J. Tennant, of Parkersburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and remembered fondly by many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Doug (Charlie) Tennant and sister Irene (Virgie) Athey.
Arrangements are being handled by Borgwardt Funeral Home in Beltsville, Md. A memorial will be held at the family cemetery at a later date in Jakes Run. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or the Maryland Pug Rescue.
