Joseph Nile Fusco died on, April 15, 2021, in Los Angeles. He was born in Punxsutawney, Pa., on Nov. 29, 1955, son of the late Albert and Virginia Fusco, who predeceased him. Joe grew up in Morgantown and attended Saint Francis Grade and High School. He was also a graduate of West Virginia University.
Joe lived in Los Angeles for more than 30 years. He worked in the entertainment industry during that time. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and a Catholic by faith.
Joe is survived by his life partner, Michael Wesson, and their son, Nicholas Wesson. He is also survived by his sister and three brothers: Patricia (Rusty) Ireland, Andrew (Deborah) Fusco, Randon (Susan) Fusco, all of Morgantown, and Michael (Marylou) Fusco, of Clarksburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe will be missed by his many friends all across the country.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Molly Fusco Vannoy; his nephew, David Joseph Fusco Logston; and his brother- in-law, Jack Vannoy.
Due to COVID restrictions, a service for Joe will be held at a later date in Morgantown. Cedar Hill Mortuary, in Los Angeles, is handling his cremation. His ashes will be sent to Morgantown for internment.
