Krista Mae Peraldo, 16, of Hundred, died Monday in UPMC Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born Sept. 25, 2004, in Morgantown, a daughter of John Peio Peraldo and Stephanie Dawn Ward Peraldo, of Hundred.
Krista was a sophomore at Hundred High School where she was active in school activities. She was the memory keeper and the videographer. She was also a member of the TSA, FFA and was on the archery team.
She attended the Truth Assembly Chapel of Wadestown.
Surviving in addition to her parents are one brother, Michael Peraldo, of Hundred; one sister, Airadeea Peraldo, also of Hundred; paternal grandmother, Nancy Peraldo, of Hundred; paternal uncle, Kevin Keast, of Hundred; maternal grandmother, Connie Aston, of Clairington, Ohio; maternal aunt, Kimberly Basnett and Uncle Travis Smith, of Woodsfield, Ohio; maternal uncle, Buck Ward, of Clairington, Ohio; and several cousins, including Kameron Keast, Jake Basnett, Matt Basnett, Dylan Basnett and Cameron Basnett.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Nando Ray Peraldo; her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Mae Peraldo; and her maternal grandfather, Rodney Ward.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, from 5-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Jason Morgan, Pastor Jason Sleeth and the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating.
