Edward John Emsweller, 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021. The son of Raymond and Lois (DeWitt) Emsweller, he was born on April 5, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio.
Surviving are his mother, Lois Emsweller; sisters, Pam Turner and Debbie Sickles; nephew, David Turner; and nieces, Brooke Turner and Lauren Campbell. He was preceded in passing by his father, Raymond J. Emsweller; and brother, Raymond P. Emsweller.
Ed worked as a defense attorney and land broker for many years. He held a Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School, a master’s degree in real estate and urban analysis from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in economics from West Virginia University. Ed loved to travel, play sports, go running and attend any church related activities.
Ed will be missed, loved and never forgotten. His family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
