Linda Mazure, 73, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 16, 1947, in Fairmont, a daughter of Elouise Raikes and the late Donald E. Raikes.
An ordained minister, Linda worked as a children’s pastor for 16 years and an assistant pastor for five years. She also founded Gloryfire Ministries in 2000 and established the Morgantown chapter of Aglow International, where she was president and was actively involved in training and equipping the saints.
Linda is survived by her husband, James A. Mazure; daughters, Malinda Gain and Jaimie Levine; sons-in-law, Sean Levine and Jason Gain; grandchildren, Jack Beard, Michael Levine and Alexandra Levine; sister, Donna Harding and her husband Marshall Harding; nephews, Marshall Harding, Scott Harding, Matthew Tucker and Daniel Tucker.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Donald E. Raikes; sister, Mary Ellen Tucker; brother, Rodney C. Raikes, and nephew, Rodney C. Raikes.
A graveside service will be held with immediate family at the Veterans National Cemetery in Grafton. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at Covenant Church in Fairmont. Details will be released once plans have been put into place.
