Ida L. Brown, 84, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2021. Ida was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Morgantown to the late Otto and Gay Given.
Ida enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ida will always be known by her family and friends as being sweet and ornery.
Ida is survived by two children, Roger Brown and Linda Watson; grandchildren, Wynn (Duri), Charity, Teresa (Tony), Albert, Brittany, Alexis (George), Anna and Evan; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Maddox, Aubrey, Cecil, Lucas, William, Madyson, James, Dakotah, Dayani, Minjae and Wonjune; sister, Lucille (Bryant); brother, Herman (Ruth); sisters-in-law, Bessie and Doris Jean; brother-in-law, James; many nieces and nephews; and special friends John and Perky.
In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Clark; brothers, Ernest and James; sisters, Shirley and Jean; son-in-law, Cotton; and great-granddaughter, Caydance.
At Ida’s request there will be no funeral service.
