Sharonlee Huffman, 71, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1949, in Morgantown, daughter to Dr. James Blaine “Doc” Huffman Jr. and Dorothy Ann Scott Huffman, RN.
Sharonlee was a graduate of Saint Francis High School and later graduated from WVU.
She worked as a clerical secretary for WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities until her retirement.
She was a member of Saint Luke’s Catholic Church, Cheat Lake, and enjoyed traveling with the monastery tour groups. She loved McDonald’s desserts and watching the original “Hawaii Five-O,” “Bewitched” and later the Animal Planet.
She is survived by her siblings: Brother, Scott Huffman (Myrna), brother, James B. Huffman III (Becky) and her only sister, Judi Murray (Brian); and uncle, David Huffman, all of Morgantown. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc Huffman and Dorothy Ann Huffman; her maternal grandmother, Helen C. Scott; and her uncle, Harry Scott and his wife Sarah.
Cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be held by the family at a later date. At the request of the family there will be no services.
