Neil taught at the WVU School of Social Work until he started the first private therapy practice in Morgantown. He was a dynamic and innovative teacher and therapist, as well as a life-long student. Neil was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard. Neil enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was known for his infectious laugh, extraordinary sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel special. He loved travelling with his family, his professional career, his farm in Canaan Valley, nature, music, God and his grandchildren.

A private service will be held at Suncrest United Methodist Church. Celebrate Neil’s life by donating to Saint Ursula Food Pantry, P.O. Box 18, Pursglove. Arrangements are under the direction of the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Point Marion.
