Harland Wolfe

Harland Luther Wolfe, 78 of Kingwood, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Tuesday Feb. 2, 2021, at Stonerise Kingwood.

He was born, March 14, 1942, in Albright, the son of the late Erbie and Georgia Wolfe.

He attended Kingwood High School, He enjoyed all sports, especially the Cleveland Browns. He entered in the U.S. Army in 1964-1966 in Vietnam. He was a self-employed contractor by trade.

He is survived by his son, Harry Wolfe and grandson, Cade Wolfe; Harland’s companion, Donna Miller, all of Kingwood; brother, Hubert Wolfe and wife Mary Jane, of Kingwood; six sisters, Florence Hillery, of Mentor, Ohio, Loretta Comer and husband, Ralph, of Medina Ohio, Marie Wolfe, of Lady Lake, Fla.. Sue Gagen, of Phoenix, Pa., Phillis Hamon of Sebring, Fla., and Dianna Duesler (McDaniel) and husband, of Lady Lake Fla; numerous nieces and nephews; and Alexis Harvey (adopted granddaughter).

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 2-4 p.m. Sunday Feb. 7, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Feb. 8 with Kelly Gamble officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Preston County Honor Guard. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton. Family would like to thank Stonerise Kingwood for all their care.
