Anna Catherine “Sis” Fike, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
Born April 22, 1937, in Friendsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Leona (Friend) Hinebaugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Fike Sr., Dec. 14, 2010; two brothers, Claude and Ralph Hinebaugh; and one sister, Ruth Hinebaugh Umbel.
Mrs. Fike worked for many years at Clover Farm, now S & S Market. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and a member of the Sand Spring Church of God. Sis enjoyed reading, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, David (companion, Lori) Fike, of Bruceton Mills; Danny (Debbie) Fike, of Valley Point; two daughters, Debbie (Paul) Frazee, of Friendsville, Md., and Diane Emory, of Grantsville, Md.; two brothers, Robert (Lou) Hinebaugh and Wilbur (Jane) Hinebaugh Jr., all of Friendsville, Md.; five grandchildren, Amy (C.J.) Moyers, Kaitlyn (Christian) Glotfelty, Erin Frazee and Garrett and Reagan Emory; two step-grandsons, Mychal (Kayla) Miller and Garth Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Alan, Evan and Emma.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, Pa., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, Md., from 2-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Dana Umbel officiating. Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
