Linda Darlene Titchnell, 71, of Albright (Valley Point Community), passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late W. Donald and Leta Virginia Welch Crane, she was born April 3, 1949, in Morgantown.
Linda was a member of the Mount Moriah United Methodist Church. She was a stay-at-home Mom until her daughter and son were grown, and then she worked for 18 years as a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Clerk’s Office in Kingwood. Linda enjoyed time with her family on beach trips and camping, as well as piecing quilts and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Dwight Titchnell; a daughter and her husband, Carrie and Walter Chadwell, of Bruceton Mills; a son, Kevin Titchnell, of Clarksburg; four grandchildren: Hayden and Madeline Chadwell and Veronica and Alexander Titchnell; and two sisters, Connie Crane, of Cheat Lake, and Sheila Holsinger, of Kingwood.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills from 1-3 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service Wednesday, Jan. 20, with Pastor Sonny McNear officiating.
Burial will be in the WV National Cemetery in Grafton.
Due to the COVID-19 virus and for the safety of everyone attending the visitation at the funeral home and cemetery, visitors must wear a face covering, practice social distancing and avoid lingering after paying their respects to the Titchnell family.
