Charles Truman “Charlie” Miller, 70, of Fairmont Road, Morgantown passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Charles was born
Jan. 12, 1950 in Morgantown a son of Laura Belle Austin Miller, of Morgantown, and the late Charles M. Miller.
Charlie was a longtime, self-employed mechanic, before going to work for the Monongalia County Motor Pool. Charlie loved anything to do with cars and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Charlie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Charlie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Eloise Marsh Miller, three sons, Charles Lee Miller, of Morgantown, Robert Adam Miller, of Capon Bridge (Hampshire County), and Michael Ray Miller and spouse Kelly, of Reedsville; one stepdaughter, Melissa Spiker and spouse Phillip, of Kingwood; two sisters, Linda W. Wolko and spouse Bill, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Marian Antonelli, of Morgantown; one brother, Dave Miller and spouse Monica, of Alabama; grandchildren, Chase, Tori, Aubrey, Bailey, Lexi, Lucas and Lyndsay; and great-grandson Landon.
In addition to his father, Charlie was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Miller.
McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services and, due to COVID-19, memorial services will be held and announced at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Charlie’s memory to McCulla Funeral Home.
