Catherine Ann Thorn, 73, of Howesville, died on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Catherine was born June 25, 1947, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Howard L. and Loda W. (Brown) Hall.
She was a 1965 graduate of Newburg High School and was a member of St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Kingwood.
She is survived by her son, Edward Walter Thorn Jr., of Howesville; one sister, Christine Croft, of Morgantown; and her caregiver, Betty Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Edward Walter Thorn.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street from 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, to the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. with Father S.A. Arokiadass, H.G.N. officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Social distancing and masks required.
