Lacey Renee Fox, 35, of Fairmont, passed away at the home of her parents in Morgantown Dec. 20, 2020. Lacey was born in Clarksburg
July 23, 1985. Her parents are William Keith and Patricia “Pattie” Sampson Fox, of Morgantown.
Lacey formerly worked for Monongalia County EMS and Star City EMS and loved those she worked with and the jobs they performed together, but she found her passion in teaching martial arts and opened Fairmont School of Martial Arts. She deeply cared for all of her students and considered them family.
In addition to her parents, Lacey is survived by her partner; Larissa Kirk and her family; daughter: Tara Grinnan; sons: Blake and Brody Fultineer; brother: Joey Coburn (Megan); sister: Ashley Povroznik Hawkins; aunt Chrystal Haselau (Eugene Levtov); aunt Nancy Povroznik, aunt Deborah (Ed) Hoskins, uncle David (Dicki) Fox, uncle Edward Sampson, niece Zayleigh and her senseis: Ralph Sumlin, Winnie Slager, and Erik Stevens, and her two fur babies Sampson and Mario.
Lacey is now reunited with her grandmother, Louise Fox, whom she missed very much.
Although Lacey will be deeply missed by all who knew her, the family recognizes the times we are living in and that gathering in large groups may not be in people’s best interest, so please come if you wish, send a condolence on the funeral home webpage if you wish, or remember them in prayer during this most difficult time. During all services, masks are required, social distancing guidelines will be followed and the family asks that you limit your time in the funeral home to 15 minutes.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home,
770 Fairmont Road on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, from
3-6 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor M.A. Donham officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
