Paula Peaslee, 70, of Kingwood, died on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Morgantown.
Paula was born April 28, 1950, in Morgantown, a daughter of Mary Louise (Moyers) Peaslee, of Kingwood, and the late Paul C. Peaslee.
She was a 1968 graduate of Kingwood High School and attended WVU. Paula was a drywall finisher and was a member of the Painter and Carpenter Unions. She enjoyed her involvement with the 4-H Seneca Tribe and showing steers during the Preston County Buckwheat Festival. Paula loved spending time with her family, spending time outdoors and being with her pets.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother and spouse, Rick and Katherine Peaslee, of Youngstown, Ohio; nephews and spouse, Matthew and Erin Peaslee, of Pittsburgh, and Zachary Peaslee, of Athens, Ohio; and several cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Patrick Peaslee; and two sisters, Pamela Peaslee and Annette Peaslee.
Cremation services are under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Crematory. Interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery.
