Richard Dennis Barker, 67, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at his home. He was born on Nov. 27, 1953 in Morgantown, a son of the late William “Barney” Barker Jr., and Ruth Ann Davis Barker.
He had a passion for woodworking, cooking, gardening and taking care of his home. He worked as a food and beverage manager in numerous establishments including Lakeview and Alpine Lake and retired from Mon Health Medical Center as a surgical tech.
Dennis is survived by his brother, Dan Barker and his wife Dollie, of Morgantown, and his faithful companion, Charlie, along with several close cousins.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his brother, William David Barker.
Due to COVID, a public visitation and memorial service will take place at a later time.
