Carolyn Sue Jones, 66, of Van Buren, Ark. left this life on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 in Fayetteville, Ark. She is now with her parents, Albert and Evelyn Jones, and a grandson, Bryan Nathaniel Robbins. She was born June 20, 1954 in Fresno, Calif. Anyone that knew Carolyn knew of her love for her kids, furbabies, family and friends; just life in general.
Carolyn loved to help others. She had waitressed, worked at the Health Department and was a truck driver and loved doing that.
She loved to be with her kids, whether it was fishing, eating or just sitting around talking and laughing. Her passions in life were her family, friends and making people laugh. Her smile was so infectious and would brighten anyone’s day, no matter their mood. She was a giving woman, if you needed something and Carolyn could do it, it would be done. She never asked for anything in return. Her smile, giving heart, her love for her family and friends, her unwavering love and kindness will always be remembered by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Sanders and husband John, of Morgantown, and Jessica Waddle, of Van Buren, Ark.; two sons, Chris Bartley and wife Tanya, of Morgantown, and Ben Bartley and wife Kristie, of Van Buren, Ark.; three sisters, Erma Jones, Nellie Palmer and Cindy Jones; four brothers, Albert Jones, William Jones, Mike Jones and Jerry Jones; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two furbabies, Shadow and Angel; and numerous other family and friends.
Graveside service will be at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Okla. at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ark.
