Peggie Wilson, 83, of Kingwood, went home to see the Lord on Thursday Dec. 3, 2020.
She was born Oct. 25, 1937, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Dick and Gladys Ellison Uphold.
Peggie worked at PMH switchboard in the 60s, she worked for Preston County Schools Board of Education as a cook and custodian for 30 years. Peggie liked to garden and tinker with things, and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her four children, Joretha Bohon and husband, Randy, of Terra Alta, Louis Loughry and husband Jimmy, of Kingwood, Butch Wilson, of Grafton, and Jim Wilson, of Kingwood, and his fiancée Lydia Hall, of Bruceton Mills; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oley Wilson and her brother, Bill Uphold.
Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 9 and from noon Thursday until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Michael Argabrite officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery where Mom will be laid to rest beside Dad.
During the visitation and funeral, social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
