Ruby Pearl Murray Dunn Austin, 87, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away peacefully on Monday Nov. 30, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born and raised in West Virginia, daughter to Preston and Allie Lewis Murray.
Ruby was a quiet, reserved homemaker who was content to stay close to home. She loved to cross stitch and did not want or need anything fancy.
She is survived by four children, Gary Dunn, of Point Marion, Pa., Donna Nester, Bill Dunn, of Morgantown, and Kathy Brady and husband Mike, of Point Marion, Pa.; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Thomas Ray Murray, of Masontown, W.Va., and two daughters-in-law, Susan Austin and Kim Austin, both of Pennsylvania.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Eugene Dunn, and second husband, Wayman Austin; two sons, James Michael Austin and Roger Lee Austin; stepchildren, Shirley, Charles and Evelyn Austin; and one daughter-in-law, Arizona Dunn.
Private services are under the direction of the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home. Ruby will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
