Ervin Asa Fordyce, 78, of New Freeport, Pa. died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 7, 1942, in Littleton (Wetzel County), a son of the late Aubrey Fordyce and Emma Stout Fordyce.
Mr. Fordyce was a retired production supervisor for Noble Corporation in Edinburg, Ohio. He was a member of the NRA and Oil & Gas Association.
Ervin was a member of the Sand Hill Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta Kay Tennant Fordyce; two daughters and their spouses, Gina Tucker and her husband Thomas, of Salem, Ohio, and Pam Callis and her husband Matt, of Onsted, Mich.; three brothers and their spouses, Sherrell Fordyce and his wife Becky, of Roopville, Ga., John Fordyce and his wife Donita, of Mannington, and Thomas Fordyce and his wife Kathy, of New Freeport, Pa.; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Joshua Tucker and his wife Sarah J., Andrew Tucker and his wife Miriaha, Nicholas Tucker, Sarah Marie Tucker, Taylor Callis, Seth Callis and Madison Callis; four great-grandchildren, Ella, Amelia, Emma and Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Fordyce.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Evangelist Thomas Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Ned, Pa..
