Tyesha Dawn Shriver, 16, of Fairmont, and Tuscaloosa, Ala. died Nov. 2, 2020 in Fairmont.
She was born Dec. 26, 2003, in Glen Dale, a daughter of Jamall Smith and Hope Shriver.
She graduated from North Ridge High School in Tuscaloosa where she was a member of the ROTC program and ran track. She enjoyed making crafts and doing her hair and makeup as well as spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings; Aiden Shriver, Zakarah Shriver, Chase Shriver and Remington Shriver; her maternal grandmother, Jill Shriver; paternal grandmother, Boberette Molisee; great-grandfather, Glen Walker; and uncle, Karnell Smith.
A memorial service will be held at Dering-Henson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. Inurnment will be at a later date in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and face coverings will be required of all that attend.
