Roy Earl Zinn IV, 40, of Lynchburg, Va. passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.
He was born April 21, 1980, in Aurora, Neb., the son of Frances Jeanne “Jeannie” Zinn, of Morgantown, and the late Roy Earl Zinn III.
In addition to his mother, Roy is survived by his wife, Anna Massey Zinn, of Lynchburg, Va., whom he married April 10, 2020.
Roy is also survived by his sons, Elijah Boyd and Wyatt Lanham Zinn and their mother Erin (Candice) Pearson, of Greenville, N.C.; sister, Angie Bell (Eric and Bryce); grandmother, Grace Adeline Zinn; aunts, JoAnn Hill (Randy); Janet Stone, all of Morgantown, and Jennifer Sisk, of Fairmont; uncle Dan Zinn, of Morgantown; and cousins, Joshua Shuttlesworth (Jocelyn), of Morgantown, Ashley Williams (Dave, Bria and Maddie), of Hawaii, and Logan Sisk, of Fairmont; father-in-law, Gene Dongweck; brother-in-law, Lucas Dongweck, of Lynchburg, Va.; mother-in-law Nancy Dongweck, of Spotsylvania, Va., and sister-in-law Morgan Clifford (Kevin), of Pittsburgh.
Roy attended University High School in Morgantown and Pitt Community College in Greenville, N.C. He was a Project Manager with MH Masonry in Lynchurg, Va.
Roy was a firearms enthusiast and enjoyed range time. He also loved hiking and time spent camping.
Following Roy’s wishes he was cremated and a private family celebration of his life will be planned at the family’s convenience.
