KINGWOOD, W.Va. — Emily Lattea scored all four goals as the University High girls’ soccer team defeated Preston 4-0.
Playing their third game in three nights, the Hawks (3-2-0) took control with three goals in a five minute span midway through the first half. Lattea scored goals off of passes from Morgan Ryan and Sam Rechter, sandwiched between a Heather Brunner corner kick.
The Knights (3-7-1) got their best chance early in the second half, but Hawks goalie Lizzy Edwards made a low save to preserve the shutout.
University will play again at 11 a.m. Saturday against Ripley.
