Robert Dennis DeVault, 67, of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 7, 2020. He was born April 14, 1953, in Morgantown, a son of the late William D. DeVault and Mary J. Hickman DeVault.
In 1972, Robert joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for eight years. Robert was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed amateur radio, gardening and tinkering on computers.
Robert is survived by his children, Crystal (Angelia) DeVault, Mary (Joel) Sullivan and Robert (Nicole) DeVault II; brothers, William, David (Sharon) and Mark (Denise) DeVault; sister, Rebecca (Frank) McDonald; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Marianne Courtney.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to McCulla Funeral Home to help with final funeral expenses.
Family and friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery with full military honors conferred by Joint Base Andrews Honor Guard and Westover VFW Post # 9916.
