MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Four goals by Emily Lattea and some timely saves by Lizzy Edwards secured the 4-1 win for the University High girls’ soccer team against Jefferson on Wednesday.
The Hawks (1-0-0) had a slow start to the game after an early goal by the Cougars (0-1-0).
UHS hosts Wheeling Central Catholic Thursday for Senior Night.
