MAC hosts annual sale to raise funds

Monongalia Arts Center’s Trash to Treasure Sale, which kicked off earlier this week, offers the community a chance to snag an array of items, including theater props, equipment and other donated goods.
While the sale was open Wednesday, organizers are taking a break today before reopening from 3-7 p.m. Friday and Monday. This allows them to ensure the sanitization of the building and products offered.
Most items will be sold for a “pay what you will” donation, while some — like speakers, sculptures, projection screens and other valuables — will have a set price. Other items included in the sale are graphic novels (mostly DC and Marvel), dinnerware, books, CDs, exercise equipment, frames and hardware.
All attendees are asked to follow social distancing guidelines. Face masks will be required for entry into the building and hand sanitizer will be provided at the front door.
