Ruth Elizabeth Dewitt, 88, of Burien, Wash., passed away on Aug. 7, 2020, after a short illness. Ruth was born March 16, 1932, in Morgantown, daughter of the late William R. and Frances P. (Williams) Lenhart.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Earl Thomas Dewitt; her four children, daughter, Pamela Davis Hagedorn, of Kansas City, Mo., three sons, Stanley M., of Morgantown, and Kevin T. and David R. Davis, of Federal Way, Wash.; as well as stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Robert W. Lenhart, and sister, Mary Core.
Ruth was a member of Lake Burien Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed being the director of Bible study and devoted many years as a volunteer at Burien Highline Medical Center and was a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
A memorial celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at a later date
