Thomas Ray “Tom” Williams, 74, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 20, 2020, at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Tom was born Nov. 3, 1945 in Fairmont, and was a son of the late Lawrence Edward Williams and the late Margaret Charlotte (Summers) Williams.
Tom is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Ford Williams, whom he married Feb. 24, 1967; two children, Thomas Ray Williams Jr. and his wife Colleen, and Heather Dawn Williams Devlin and her husband Peter; seven grandchildren, David Whitson, Deanna Devlin, Cassandra Williams, Chance Williams, Morgan Devlin, Jacob Devlin and Keagan Devlin; a brother, Ralph Edward Culp II and his wife Julie, a sister, Naomi Marie Bull; and his stepfather, Ralph Edward Culp.
He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Tom was probably happiest when he was either playing the machine at Starz or at a friend’s house playing poker. He worked for Senior Monongalians, and owned a window washing business for a long time.
Friends may join the family to honor Tom’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown from 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 until the time of his funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Neil Leftwich officiating. Interment will be held privately for the family at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens on Thursday, June 25.
