Douglas Costello

Douglas Jesse Costello, 72, of Masontown, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, June 8, 2020.

He was born in Morgantown, on Sept. 6, 1947, a son of the late Frederick William Costello Sr. and the late Mildred Aldena Mae (Harvey) Costello.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved hunting, fishing, camping at Big Bear and the great outdoors. He worked at Sterling Faucet in Morgantown for 28 and a half years.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Lucille (Blosser) Costello; two daughters, Juanita Farley and husband Keith and Jessie M. Crooks and husband Charles; four grandchildren, Keith Farley II, Tyler Farley, Ashley Znoy and Sara Jones; four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Stone, Miah Jones, Grayson Farley and Lilliana Dawn Roscoe; Shania Moser, who he thought of as a granddaughter; two brothers, Craig Costello and Kenneth Costello; and three sisters, Eva Luckadoo, Sonja Worley and Shirley Sanders.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, John Paul Znoy II; a brother, Frederick Costello Jr.; and a sister, Sandra Lohr.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 12. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13 with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown.

Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Costello family.
