A Michigan man and Pennsylvania woman face charges after a Mon Metro Drug Task Force raid allegedly found drugs in their home.
Charles L. McGee, 50, of Eastpointe, Mich., and Madison Page Downs, 23, of Uniontown, Pa., are each charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Both were targets of an investigation by the task force, which indicated they were sources of controlled substances around Morgantown, according to a criminal complaint.
The two were the only people in the house, on Grant Avenue near Eighth Street, when the task force searched it, the complaint said
Officers found about 65 grams of possible heroin/fentanyl mix but a lab will need to determine the exact nature of the drugs, according to the task force commander Sgt. R. Jiles. Less than $1,000 and scales were also found.
There were no firearms in the house and there were no incidents during the search, Jiles said.
Both are being held in North Central Regional Jail. Downs’ bond was set at $50,000 and and McGee’s is $75,000.
