Dorothy ‘Dot’ Blosser Bonnell, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
The daughter of the late Rev. Clyde and Stella Dalton Blosser, she was born April 23, 1940, in Morgantown.
Dot was a member of the Apostolic Light House Church, pastored by her brother, the Rev. Gary Blosser. She retired from Morgan Shirt Factory. Dot loved her family and helping others.
Dot is survived by her siblings, Helen Mancini, Wanda Mathess and her husband, Jim, Gary Blosser and his wife, Bonnie, and Patty Samsell and her husband, George; her daughter-in-law, Susie Bonnell; granddaughter, Kristi Shaffer and her husband, Jon; great-grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Shaffer; and her loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ Bonnell; her son, Robert ‘Bobby’ Bonnell; brothers, James, Harry and Darrell Blosser; and a sister, Marge Nestor.

A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24 with her brother, the Rev. Gary Blosser, officiating. Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
