Kenneth James McCord, 80, of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Bruceton Mills, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2020, at Kettering Medical Center, in Kettering, Ohio.
He was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Morgantown, a son of the late Rex Kenneth McCord and the late Iris (Ammons) McCord.
Survivors include his daughter Lisa McCord and her nine children, and a son, Rex McCord and his fiancé Angie Samples and their two children, of Miamisburg, Ohio; and a sister Betty Sanders.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Emma Jane Leach McCord on March 23, 2020; and a brother, David McCord.
He loved to go deer hunting and camping, as well as playing horseshoes and cornhole.
Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, his family has chosen to have a private viewing and funeral service. Mr. McCord will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery on Wednesday, May 6.
