Donald L. Shoulders, 57, of Morgantown, formerly of Wheeling, died Saturday, April 18, at home. He was born April 11, 1963, in Elkins, to the late Ernest and Pauline Shoulders. He was retired as a pipefitter from Local 83 in Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant twin brothers and a brother-in-law, Gary Swecker.
He is survived by three children: Jennifer Materkoski (Rich), Megan Shoulders, and Wesley Shoulders (Jamie), and their mother, Beth Shoulders, all of Wheeling; five grandchildren: Mason, Mercer and Miller Materkoski, and Lennon and Hudson Shoulders; two sisters: Virginia Hogan (Ralph), of Morgantown, and Charlotte Kolenc (Martin), of Follansbee; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later time. Final arrangements are entrusted to Smith Funeral and Cremation Care, Morgantown.
