Mon County Sheriff’s Dept. responds to gunshot victim

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Deparment responded to Mon Health Medical Center for a gunshot victim at 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

The male victim was uncooperative with the deputy who spoke to him, Sheriff Perry Palmer said.

The victim was not identified due to the ongoing investigation into the incident.

The man was transferred to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition, Palmer said.
