Virginia Tennant

Virginia Lee Tennant, 60, of Fairview, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020 at her residence.

She was born Jan. 10, 1960, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late James Fletcher and Rosemary Saunders Fletcher.

Virginia was a homemaker.

Surviving are two sons and their spouses, William Tennant Jr. “B.J.”, of Fairview, and Tim Tennant and his wife Amber, of Pentress; two brothers, Herbert Fletcher, of Morgantown, and Ronald Fletcher, of Daybrook; three sisters, Patricia Tennant, of Daybrook, Glenda Sweeney, of Brave, Pa., and Diane Braun, of Miracle Run; and three granddaughters, Jasmine, Rose, and Lillie Tennant.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Tennant; one daughter, Jennifer Tennant; one son, Eric Fletcher; and two brothers, Randy Fletcher and Harold Fletcher.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennant Cemetery in Daybrook.
