Mary Louise Freeland, 79, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at Sundale Nursing Home.
Mary was born on Jan. 6, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Buelah West.
Mary enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, puzzle books and reading.
Mary is survived by her son, Ed Gilbert (Patti), a daughter, Carol Ann King and Debby Gilbert (whom she thought of as a daughter). She is also survived by a sister, Anna Lee Hissam, five grandchildren, Brittany Corbitt, Brandy Gilbert, Tiffani Athey, Rachel Good and Derrick Good and five great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Freeland, and a son, Mitchell Lee Gilbert.
Friends and family will be received at Goshen Baptist Church, 1070 Goshen Road, Morgantown, WV 26508 at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
