SHINNSTON, W.Va. — The Preston High girls’ basketball team struggled on both ends of the court in its 77-46 loss to Lincoln on Tuesday.
The Knights (11-5) actually had a lead late in the first half, but then Lincoln caught fire from beyond the arc — making eight 3-point attempts between the end of the first half and the beginning of the second.
Preston couldn’t rebound after that stretch of the game.
The Knights will play again at 7:30 p.m. Thursday against Robert C. Byrd.
