SB 513, to protect consumers against businesses that use automatic renewals without consent.
SB 515, to create an Education Savings Account Program. Sen. Dave Sypolt, R-Preston, co-sponsor.
SB 518, to require a one-year residency within a legislative district or county in order to be appointed to fill a vacancy in that seat.
SB 520, the Natural Gas Liquids Economic Development Act, “to encourage development, transportation and use of natural gas liquids for the benefit of natural gas projects in the state by providing certain tax credits.”
HB 4364, to create a tax credit for hiring certain ex-felons.
HB 4368, adds various provisions and protections to the Medical Cannabis Act.
HB 4369, a revival of last year’s bill to allow mineral owners to obtain releases from idle natural gas leases. Delegate Dave Pethtel, D-Wetzel, co-sponsor.
HB 4378, deals with disciplining teachers involved in sexual misconduct with students.
HB 4382, reinstates the film investment tax credit.
HB 4384, the Monument and Memorial Protection Act, to prevent removal, renaming, alteration or relocation of monuments on public property “if such has been erected for, or named or dedicated in honor of leaders, persons, and events, including any historical figure event or, organization” in specified periods or topics.
HCR 15, a bridge-naming resolution, to rename the Third Street Bridge, carrying W.Va. 310 over Benoni Avenue and Coal Run in Marion County as the Rose Agnes Rolls Cousins Bridge.
