KINGWOOD, W.Va. — The Preston High girls’ basketball team defeated Bridgeport, 66-46, on Monday.
Michelle Thomas led the Knights (8-1) in scoring with 16 points. Carsynn Sines scored 13 points and Breanna Sphar scored 11.
Preston got off to a good start in the game — outscoring Bridgeport 36-20 in the first half — and managed to add to its lead in the second half.
The Knights also made 17 of their 19 free throws.
Preston will play again at 7:30 p.m. today against University.
