Frank Wolfe

Frank Lee Wolfe, 81, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday Jan. 1, 2020, at Grafton City Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born May 1, 1938, in Washington, Pa., son of Ernest Grant and Goldie (Goodwin) Wolfe.

Frank was retired from Jim Davis Construction and enjoyed his yearly hunting trip to Keyser with his buddies.

In addition to his parents, Frank has been reunited with his loving wife, Joann; brothers, Fred (Polly), Alfred, Howard, along with Clarence and Ernest at infancy; brothers-in-law, David Lewis, Ralph Chidester, Clarence Hovatter Jr., Darrell Morris (Barbara) and Junior McMillen.

Survivors include sisters, Goldie Lewis, of Morgantown, Carolyn Chidester, of Reedsville; brothers, Glenn (Linda), of Masontown and Raymond (Kay), of Independence; brother-in-law, Jerry (Mary) Morris, of Cedar Bluff, Va.; sisters-in-law, Sharon Wolfe (who also was his main caregiver since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease) and Barbara McMillen, of Morgantown; a niece, Kim Pyles, of Newburg, along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Also surviving is his niece, Amy Williams of Grafton and her children Kayla, Dillon and Garrett who will be forever grateful for the time spent with Frank and the “I love you’s” he shared over the years and especially his last days.

The family would like to thank the third floor staff at Grafton City Hospital, especially Nurses Chasity and Peggy and Home Away From Home Personal Care Facility for the care and support during Frank’s stay.

Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summer School Road, Morgantown, 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, until the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Brother Gary Metheny officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
