Thelma Faye Cale, 84, of Snake Hill Road, Masontown, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25 2019 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born Oct. 20 1935, a daughter of the late Milburn and Emma Pearl (Nicholas) Newsome. She retired as a nursing assistant from Preston Memorial Hospital in 2000. She enjoyed family, friends and square dancing back in the day. Thelma was the heart of the family, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by four sons and spouses: Larry (Pam) Cale, Gary (Margie) Cale, Michael (Sherry) Cale and Terry (Diana) Cale; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death, by her husband of 65 years, Percy Ray Cale; sister, Emma Jean Hoover; three brothers William, Robert and Gail Newsome; and her faithful dog Sammy.

Friends will be received at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville, from 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28th until 2 p.m., the time of funeral Services with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment to follow in the Mt.Zion Cemetery, Masontown.
