HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Preston girls’ basketball team prevailed against North Charleston (S.C.) on Monday by a score of 54-45.
The Knights (6-1) struggled at first — scoring just six points in the first quarter, but outscored North Charleston 48-32 the remaining three quarters.
Michelle Thomas led Preston in scoring with 15 points, and Izabella Stahl scored 10.
The Knights will play again on Jan. 2 against Robert C. Byrd.
