Edna Beryl Sebold, 98, of McHenry, Md., died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, at Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home, Grantsville, Md.
Born June 27, 1921, in Addison, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Martha H. (Nedrow) Eisentrout. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Paul Sebold; three brothers, Wendell, Clarence and John “Bill” Eisentrout; and two sisters, Martha Friend and Emogene Fisher.
Edna was a retired dairy farmer and homemaker who worked side by side with her family on their dairy farm.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Sebold and wife, Charlotte, of McHenry, Md.; Larry Sebold and wife, Brenda, of McHenry, Md.; two daughters, Kathleen Green and husband, Howard, of Oakland, Md.; Mary Lynne Withrow and husband, Carlton, of Morgantown; one brother, Edward Eisentrout, of Kingwood; one sister, Jenny Boone, of Morgantown; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service with Dan Erenrich officiating. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
