Jarrid Winters, a WVU student, was hit by a car about 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, at the intersection of Patteson Drive and Morrill Way, according to Morgantown Communications Manager Andrew Stacy.
He suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Briana Spiker was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk, Stacy said. She is not a WVU student according to John Bolt, WVU spokesperson.
