James Palmieri, 92, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at Sundale Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 27, 1926, in Chaplin, a son of the late Angelo and Isabelle (Laratta) Palmieri.
He is survived by his siblings, Lou Palmieri of Morgantown, Rose Haynes of Dallas, Texas, and George Palmieri of Jacksonville, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his siblings, Frank, Pat, Sam and John Palmieri.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Father Biju V. DeVassy officiating.
