Ronald Marrara was a man defined by his love of God and his love of family. His family had him for 69 years, and on Aug. 9, 2019, he went back to God. He was surrounded by the love he created and invited into his life.
Family and friends may join together to honor his life and legacy at St. John University Parish, 1481 University Ave., Morgantown, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, and from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, until the celebration of his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Walter Jagela as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Howesville.
Divine Mercy will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church to conclude the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, which would have simply made him sneeze, the family invites you to donate to your favorite charity and asks that you request masses in Ron’s name. We also invite you to look up the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy of Jesus and to pray the Divine Mercy Prayer to ask God for Mercy for Ron’s Immortal Soul and for your own.
